4 months

Jonah turned 4 months this past Friday, and went to the pediatrician today for his check-up. Here are his stats:

Length: 25in (50%)
Weight: 13lbs, 1oz (25%)

Jonah is doing very well according to the doctor and we are hoping to start introducing solid foods in the coming weeks. The doctor was quite impressed with his overall strength, specifically for his age, He even went so far as to predict that he would be sitting up well soon. Although he did clarify and say that he wasn't "hyper", but just very physically strong and active (both good things). I suppose all those high intensity workouts were training him with are paying off... jk. :)

Upon his examination, we got to discussing Jonah's physique because Dr. Dixon noted that his torso was actually about the same length as his legs, which is apparently a little uncommon (or he wouldn't have made that comment). We decided that he must be built like a swimmer... long torso and skinny. Guess it's a good thing our pool opens next month so we can get this kid training!

Jonah has been busy growing and developing. Some recent accomplishments:

- He laughed for the first time over this past weekend.
Squealing is how he showed his excitement prior to this new found sound.

- He rolled from his tummy to his back today!
- He's rolled from his back to his left side a few times now. Up until recently, he's only rolled to the right.

- He's holding his head up and some of his chest now while on his tummy.
And tummy time isn't the worst thing ever.
