We had several different Easter celebrations over the week leading up to Easter but sadly, I wasn't snapping pictures fast enough to capture it all. Just believe me, we're ready for the next holiday! The boys had Easter egg hunts at school and school parties. We had our own little impromptu night of egg dying (because I needed colored eggs for our spring pictures with October 2015 written on them--see this post in case you missed it). So you can see our partially naked boy egg dying festivities--it was slightly chaotic.
The following weekend, we had our Bible Study group Easter fellowship lunch (minus one family) where we did some more egg dying, read stories, ate a super yummy lunch and had an egg hunt all before the kids fell to pieces in time for naps!
[Let me explain my dear Nolan's technique: pick up egg, shake egg, crack egg open if it makes a sound, drop candy into bucket, chuck empty open egg back on ground and repeat. Eventually we got him to drop the eggs into his bucket instead of the ground. Needless to say, he didn't collect many eggs, but he knew what candy he got before anyone else]
[The obligatory post-church picture with basket goodies.
Wasn't fast enough to get a picture before church!]
Gigi AND Grammy brough Easter goodies, too!
Gigi's big finale was a scooter for each boy! They loved them! And Jonah got a skinned knee--he needs a bit more practice on his scooter to keep his balance while moving!
Happy Easter celebrations!
